Volunteer of the Month - Ann Hunter
Volunteer of the Month - Ann Hunter
Originally from New York, Ann moved to Miami at age five and later spent six years in Key West before settling in Jupiter—where she’s called home for over 40 years. She describes it as the perfect place to raise a family, and feels incredibly fortunate to live so close to Jonathan Dickinson State Park, where she enjoys relaxing in her backyard, birdwatching, fishing, and spending time with loved ones.
Ann is the friendly face behind our gift shop and front desk, keeping things running smoothly while always offering a warm smile (and often a good laugh). Her gentle, fun-loving nature makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through our doors.
And if you’ve met Ann, you’ve probably noticed her signature touch—her nature-inspired earrings that fit right in with our team and reflect her love for the environment. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our nature center family!
