If you’ve visited the Nature Center on a weekend, chances are you’ve seen Mark in action. He generously volunteers his time on Saturdays, greeting guests with a friendly smile.

During the week, he also serves as our cleaning professional, working diligently behind the scenes to keep our classrooms, exhibit spaces, and public areas spotless and welcoming. Thanks to his careful attention and commitment, our animals, visitors, students, and staff all enjoy a safe, clean environment every single day!

Mark’s reliability, positivity, and willingness to wear multiple hats make him an invaluable part of our team. His work may often happen quietly in the background, but its impact is felt everywhere.
