The Hobe Sound Nature Center, in conjunction with the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches, will host a free lecture titled The Planets in "Plane" View. Following an indoor presentation starting at 6 pm discussing Mars, Jupiter and Uranus, guests will go outside to view the night sky through telescopes.

Quin Travers

Quin Travers has been Treasurer of The Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches for eight years. Quin has shared telescopic views to thousands of people with his Dobsonian telescope. He helped build the telescope at the Cox Science Center & Aquarium observatory. He currently has a career in land planning.
