The Hobe Sound Nature Center Jr Naturalist Summer Camp is designed for older students to foster meaningful connections between children and nature. Campers will use the scientific method to engage in active discoveries about wildlife, learn how to care for our resident teaching animals, seine in the seagrass beds of the Indian River Lagoon and more!
We always welcome children of all abilities! To ensure every camper has the best possible experience, we strongly recommend that those who need extra support attend with an aide or caregiver. If you have any questions about accommodations, we’d love to discuss how we can make camp a great fit for your child!
The camp is open to children ages 11 to 14 and is held Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost is $175 per camper. Registration will open April 1st.
