Enjoy a day of family fun this Earth Day at the Hobe Sound Nature Center. Activities begin at 9 AM and run until 3 PM. Learn about manatee rescues, enjoy animal story time and come prepared to get wet and discover the interesting world of marine life in the Indian River Lagoon. Food trucks, nature crafts, outdoor games and glitter tattoos guarantee a fun time for the entire family!

9:00 AM - Animal Story Time
For kids young and young at heart!

10:30 AM - Kids Marine Rescue Program
Learn how marine scientists rescue a manatee in distress.

12:00 PM - Wading in the Indian River Lagoon
Catch and release small marine animals in the Indian River Lagoon. This ‘“get wet” activity is for ages 4+ with a parent. Closed-toed shoes for the water is required.

Note: Carpooling is recommended as parking is limited.
