Nature's Nomads: Nature Journaling with Lindsey Homa
Come join us for a morning of nature journaling here at the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, as we tune into the sounds, colors, shapes and beauty of the natural world. Led by the Nature Center staff, together we will dive into the world of expression through connecting with nature. Paper and pencils will be provided, but please bring any of your own materials.
Nature Yoga with Jen (Village Yoga)
This class will be a peaceful slow flow style: This class is a deliberate and slow paced Vinyasa flow with a twist. It’s Mindful and dynamic and sometimes incorporates mini pranayamas and mediations along with the asanas. It can be ideal for yogis just starting off or for those who want to hone in on their practice and postures. Remember, slow doesn’t necessarily mean easy. A fun class that’s a mental and physical treat. The class will take place on the Indian River Lagoon beach, weather permitting. The class will be moved indoors if necessary. Please bring your own mat or towel.

Nature's Nomads: Nature Yoga with Mary Veal (Green Tara Yoga)
Mary Veal, owner of Green Tara Yoga in Jupiter, FL, has been practicing yoga for almost 30 years. She will be teaching an all-levels class recommended for ages 10 and over. The class will take place on the Indian River Lagoon beach, weather permitting. The class will be moved indoors if necessary. Please bring your own mat or towel.
Mary has extensive training in teaching a variety of yoga styles and specializes in working with people that have chronic pain or injuries. She loves to travel and hosts yoga retreats around the world.

Nature's Nomads: Birding and Wildlife Photography with Jim Mandeville
Calling all outdoor adventurists and birders of all levels! Grab your binoculars, cameras, and bird books and join us for a morning birding and photography session on the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge Beach, located at N Beach Road. This adventure will be led by fellow bird enthusiast/wildlife photographer and HSNC volunteer, Jim Mandeville. Come admire Florida's unique bird species along the beautiful 3-mile landscape of protected beach, learn about shorebird conservation, and maybe grab a few clicks as well!
